Residential Energy Storage Battery
Residential energy storage batteries store electricity for homes: solar self-consumption, backup power during outages, and load shifting. HHS Energy's residential storage line is its 48V wall-mounted battery, built on lithium iron phosphate cells and sharing one stated specification body with the rack-mounted range. This page covers the wall-mounted form; the rack-mounted form has its own page with the same stated specification.
The shared specification is: 48V system voltage, 50Ah to 200Ah capacity range, dimensions made to order, weight of about 45 kg, maximum charging at 1.0C, maximum discharge at 100A, standard charging at 0.5C and fast charging at 1.0C with a CC-CV method, cycle life of 6,000 cycles, charging from 0°C to +45°C, discharging from -20°C to +60°C and storage from -20°C to +60°C. The stated warranty is 12 years or more. Minimum order quantity is 10 sets and lead time is 5 to 7 working days. Certificates stated are CE, UN38.3 and MSDS, available upon request. Payment options stated for the storage range are HSBC, PayPal and T/T.
For a home installation, the wall-mounted form suits wall space near the inverter, while the rack-mounted form suits a cabinet or rack room. The choice is about mounting, not about a different battery: the specification body is the same. Capacity within the 50Ah to 200Ah range should be matched to the household load and the solar array. Listing titles that mention 5 kWh or 10 kWh are title figures; this site does not present them as separate verified energy ratings, because the specification body states capacity in amp-hours, not kilowatt-hours.
