Custom lithium battery packs are packs built to a buyer's specification rather than taken from a standard list. HHS Energy states custom work across its lines: golf cart packs, energy storage packs, special-shape polymer cells and packs, and power battery packs for vehicles and equipment. A custom quote starts with six facts: the voltage the device needs, the capacity for the required runtime, the maximum size the pack can occupy, the discharge current the device draws, the connector type, and the expected quantity. For polymer packs, the shape matters as well: thin, curved, round or mini forms can be specified. For vehicle packs, the motor voltage and power matter. For storage packs, the mounting form, wall or rack, and the capacity within the stated range matter. The more of these facts a buyer supplies, the more precise the reply can be.
Custom work is also where the company's stated options apply: battery management systems from 10A to 100A and above for polymer packs, charge display, Bluetooth, buzzer, heating, communication protocols and GPS for golf cart packs, and charge display, USB charging, communication and balancing for polymer packs. Minimum order quantity and lead time for custom packs are confirmed with the quote, except where the underlying standard line already states them: golf cart custom work starts from the 2 set, 5 to 7 working day baseline, and storage custom work from the 10 set, 5 to 7 working day baseline.
